Meet Nurse Eye Roll!

October 5, 2014 By Kati Kleber, MSN RN Leave a Comment

Hi there!  After much thought and prayer, I decided to no longer be an anonymous blogger.

I originally was anonymous because I was scared.  I was scared that as a nurse with an online presence that automatically meant I was done for.  The medical field and social media aren’t always compatible.  I’ve learned that you must to be very intentional with each and every single thing you say.  However, after gaining some traction I realized that I had nothing to be scared of.  The content I’ve come out with in the last year (has it already been a year!?) has been stuff that I’m proud of, and I really don’t want to put it out there without standing behind it.

So, in saying all of that.. hi 🙂

My real name is Kati.  I am a critical care nurse in Charlotte, NC.  I’ve updated my About Me page with some more detail if you want to check it out!  If there’s something you want to know that I didn’t mention, please comment and I’ll get back to you, STAT!

To answer the question that I know you probably have, Nurse Eye Roll isn’t going away.  All of my social media handles and blog will remain the same, I’m just going to actually have my name and face to it.  A new logo will be coming out, but my favorite eye roll picture will remain as well.

So check out the revamped site and let me know what you think!  In my pictures I’m wearing the best scrubs ever made, FIGS.  You know.. my antimicrobial, stain and water resistant, pre-shrunk, wrinkle-resistant fitted scrubs 🙂

Also, I am known for being incapable of doing my own hair and make-up.  The best hairstylist in Charlotte (Michelle at Re Salon and Medspa) did my hair, and I also had my make-up done there as well.  Trust me, Michelle gives a sweet scalp massage with her constantly flawless cuts and styles.  So if you live in Charlotte, you definitely need to check her out – and book early, because she fills up quickly!  The photos were taken by my brilliant friend/photographer Elisabeth Connelly.  You can check her website out here.  In addition to be a fantastic photographer, she does printing, design, stationary, and paper goods. She’s designing my new logo!  Seriously, go look at her site.  It needs to be on Style Me Pretty or something..
